When we asked our sleep team what they love about helping people sleep better, they all agree: “It’s just amazing watching people blossom and find the energy to live their dreams”.  Some people dream of just ‘not walking through life like a zombie’, while others have mountains to climb, kids to play with, businesses to run, etc... No matter what your dream is - we love being a part of the journey to get control of your sleep, shake off the fog, and reclaim your life. 

Unfortunately, so many people never make it that far. Over the years we’ve heard so many stories of people who struggled with sleeping pills, were turned away after negative sleep tests, and often just left drowning without a solution. A 2020 survey showed that 41% of Aussies reported they were not getting enough sleep, and another study in the US reported that up to 53% of us sacrifice sleep in times of busyness and stress. 

This is why we developed our sleep coaching program at pod - to help people get on the right path to a good night’s sleep. 

So, what is sleep coaching? 

Sleep Coaching with pod is a bespoke program, custom-built to meet your unique needs. Our program goes beyond the traditional test and diagnosis model that fails so many people. We take a holistic approach, where we assess all the issues that can impact sleep - things like poor sleep habits, underlying sleep disorders, inappropriate sleeping environments - or other conditions contributing to poor sleep, such as menopause or pain.  Combined, our dream team has over 8 decades' experience in helping people find their energy. 

How does it work? 

Our program takes place over 4 weeks, and consists of 3 appointments: 

  • An initial consult to gather a sleep health history, followed by a 1-week monitoring period where you will report on your sleep habits from the comfort of your own home.
  • A recommendations consult where we use the data we have gathered to create a personalised program to address your specific issues.
  • A review consult to assess your success in implementing your plan at home and fine-tuning any areas that have challenged you.

Lots of sleeping issues can re-emerge in times of change or high stress.  As the name suggests, our program isn’t about providing a quick ‘band-aid solution’ but rather, giving you all the tools you will need to manage your sleep – both now and in the future.
